Amanda and Graeme's wedding
I love my job! I love weddings! I love gorgeous weddings like this past weekend's one, where Amanda and Graeme were married in Kirkcaldy then had a reception in Burntisland. But in between the couple gave me plenty of photographic opportunites with group formals taken at Beveridge Park, then we visited Petticur Bay in Kinghorn. Amanda was so up for going down the beach barefoot, in full bridal gear, Graeme in full kilt attire, even with lots of people sunbathing around them! The couple then got some time together while walking from the beach to the pier where we got some cracking portraits.
Here is a little sneak peak of some of the day's photos.

Another wedding booked!
Received a contract through the post today for a wedding next year.
Lesley and Iain are getting married at the Redhurst Hotel in Giffnock next August, and after reading several recommendations about me on the wedding forum Hitched they have booked me for their big day!
Well, off today to a big wedding in Kirkcaldy, where I really hope the weather holds up as it sounds like there are lots of fabby things going to happen.
I shall post a teaser within 24 hours, and also catch up with some of the recent weddings I have done.

New weddings booked!
Suzanne and Ian are getting married at Forresters Park at Cairneyhill, one of my favourite venues; we used it for Jack’s Naming Day reception! It is just a gorgeous venue and Robert really knows how to look after everyone on the day.
I am so looking forward to Gail and Andrew’s wedding in September this year, as it is at Barony Castle near Peebles. This is a venue I have been to before for Leanne and Paul’s wedding 2 years ago; it is such a cool venue, especially if the weather is good and we can get outside into the beautiful gardens with the river and the pagoda, oh so many choices!
Lesley and Chris are going to have a fab wedding at Garvock House next April, which will be a lovely local wedding for me, and no doubt, a lot of fun!
Julie and Paul are going to be married at a very special place for me; Balbirnie House in Markinch. Special, why? Well, Graham and I were married there ourselves nearly 7 years ago! I still get goosebumps every single time I visit there.
June and Adam from Olympia USA are coming over from the States to get married at Arnot Tower Gardens which I believe is a stunning venue; booking your wedding photography over the Net is easy with Nikki McLeod Photography, I have photographed several weddings from couples coming from abroad.
Jen and Jonathan are going to have the most amazing wedding next May at St Salvadores Chapel in St Andrews, with a beautiful reception at the Old Course Hotel. I am so excited about their reception, as they are having a fireworks display at the end of the day!
I also recently booked Sarah and Andrew’s November wedding at the very contemporary venue of Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh, a science museum with Arthur’s Seat as a backdrop! This will be a very different wedding for me, and Sarah and Andrew are just daft about each other!
Gail and Derek have booked me to photograph their wedding also in November at the Royal College of Physicians, a venue I have been to before, and they have even used one of my shots in their promo brochure! It’s a real classy venue, with stunning architecture, and I am sure I will have a great day with Gail and Derek.
I have also got the wedding of Leanne and Allan booked, for the City Chambers in Dunfermline and the King Malcolm Hotel. The City Chambers is a place I know well; we even used that venue for Jack’s Naming Day ceremony last November.

New price list!
Well the first thing I should tell everyone is that is a new price list; which should have gone up at the beginning of the month but being on holiday, I didn't get a chance to do it.
But it's up now, with slight price increases in places, and some differences (in parent albums for example) and a new package and album for the A La Carte package.
