I am a full time female photographer, fully qualified to Licentiate with the Master Photographers Association; the only photographers association for full time photographers.
Based in Fife, my specialty is contemporary wedding photography, in Fife, Scotland, the UK and abroad! I do love to travel and have been lucky enough to photograph weddings in many parts of Scotland & England and have been taken abroad to photograph weddings in Cyprus and New York!
Back home I am very lucky to be associated with some fantastic weddings venues, who now recommend me to their clients after I photographed some amazing weddings there! Top class places like the 5 star Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, the opulent Forrester Park Golf Resort, near Dunfermline, and the beautiful Auchrannie Resort & Spa on the Isle of Arran. The Old Course also loved my work so much, that is featured on their website and also in their wedding brochures which is available to view online and in person at NMP and the Old Course Hotel itself. I have a great relationship with Robert Forrester at Forrester Park Golf Resort, and Robert very kindly allows me to use the venue for meetings and training.
I have been photographing weddings since 2000, in 2009 I opened a portrait studio in my hometown of Dalgety Bay; Blast Off Portraits has been a great success with over 250 sessions in the first 18 months of opening. Offering affordable, quality studio family & child photography for the Fife area, Blast Off has even been attracting clients from as far afield as Inverness and Aberdeen! Since March 2011, the studio has gone onto bigger and better things with a large studio, just seconds from the Play Planet, behind Encore School of Performing Arts.
