I finish blogging Nick and Kirsty's wedding by featuring Nick and his many expressions! I had to do it, I made a double page spread in their album purely on Nick's face pulls!!

How about a washing line for a table plan?! SO cool, and totally fitted into the venue's rustic feel.The couple were piped into the cake cutting, and the meal.

Oh those envelopes......... the person that was to open them was to be the server of the champagne for the table! A great way to start conversation!
The couple came up with a very novel idea of finding out who was having the beef or salmon for their main meal; each guest was to take a coloured ribbon for themselves and tie to their chair. Each colour was relevant to a particular meal. Some of their friends found even more novel ways of wearing their colours!

We had such a giggle with all the boys in kilts..... and no that sky is NOT photoshopped!This young lad was just so cute.....
as was his sporran, as he was showing me! His mum and dad were at a previous wedding of mine, it was so nice to see them again!
In the orchard, there were buckets.........
of sweets!

You have to hand it to Kirsty's mum............... as the Mother of the Bride, she took to taking pebbles off the beach, to hand make place names for each and every guest!
Table names were named after places the couple had been to, or were going to - like the amazing Maldives island they were to honeymoon on.
This toast was from a previous wedding!

Kinkell Byre was a new venue on me, but one I have been wanting to photograph in for a while. It was certainly unique and there were lots of lovely touches.

We had THE most hilarious moment, with a stampeding cow!



I could have photographed this pair all day, it was amazing weather, especially for Scotland!

Pathhead Nurseries did an amazing job on the flowers to go with the champagne bridal dress and the steel grey bridesmaids dresses.We had a quick session around the outside of the church, and then it was time to shoot off down the coast to Kinkell Byre.
This is one quirky, funky venue - it's basically a cow byre! But it's okay, there is no cows in it no more, just one modern-day wedding venue!
Before the newlyweds joined the party, we had planned to have the second part of the couples session around the Byre. We totally took advantage of the amazing weather.

Meanwhile just around the corner from the church, is Kirsty's parents' house. I was so pleased when speaking to the couple to hear that the plans were for Kirsty to be piped from her parents' house to the church! Fortunately the weather played ball on the day.

It was an amazing sight to see; the traffic of Crail stopped on a Saturday afternoon for the piped procession down the main street.
