Megan & John's wedding, Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool - part one
I know, I know... I am SO late in blogging this wedding but it will be worth it!
I have known Megan for several years, having worked alongside her at Inglis Vet Centre in Dunfermline. Megan was one of the funniest vets to work with, and I knew her wedding was going to be a fun affair too! I was very honoured to be her wedding photographer in her home town of Maghull near Liverpool, in a very pretty little church.

Sneak peek - Julie & Colin's wedding, St Andrews.
This past weekend was the first wedding in a long crazy stretch of amazing weddings for NMP.
Julie & Colin had a fantastic wedding day in St Andrews, and the wedding will be blogged in full when they return from honeymoon. But in the meantime, here is a sneak peak of some images that sprung out at me, while downloading the many many images produced by myself, and my wonderful second shooters, Eve & Sean from the States.
Brother of the bride John going crazy with page boy Lucas!
Adorable Lucas.Julie's beautiful dress from behind.
As well as a handsome little page boy, Mylie was the cutest little flower girl!
Stunning Julie.
First cuddle as man and wife (I mean Doctor and wife!)
Eve & Sean from USA were employed as wonderful second shooters for this wedding; here is Eve helping out at the confetti shot.
We got a quick 10 minutes at St Salvator's Chapel for couples time.
Before heading back to the Fairmont to all the guests.
And this is what happens when you put a good looking Russian girl together with some friendly Scotsmen!
EDIT - I have just been told that this image above IS from Eve's camera, but apparently wasn't taken by Eve, nor Sean! Me thinks a drunk Best Man picked up a rather expensive camera! I hope Eve had her cameras insured!

A bit of a big sneak peak, but there are SO many other amazing images from this wedding to come. But you'll have to wait until Julie & Colin get back from honeymoon first!
Tomorrow I'm going backwards slightly, and starting to blog a fantastic Liverpool wedding from May!

Helping a photographer friend
It's been such a busy time at NMP recently; the blog is going to be burning hot over the next couple of months!
Last week I assisted a good friend Chris at one of his weddings at the Vu in Bathgate; having been booked for a wedding there myself recently I was interested in seeing the venue for myself. The wedding was due to be featured on the tv programme "Four Weddings" on Living TV. I have always wanted to see how a wedding is actually taped on the day for 4 Weddings. So when Chris was telling me that had a wedding coming up that was going to be on the programme, I offered to be his assistant on the day. Unfortunately the week before, the series pulled out of taping the wedding. But I still offered to wipe Chris' brow, carry his bags and help where possible. He very kindly let me try out the new camera body I had purchased that week, and therefore I used it to take some pics of him, and the wedding for him.
As you can see it was one of THE wettest days possible; I felt so sorry for the bride. But Chris was the eternal professional, and I am sure the bride and groom will love the images he has provided for them.
