It was soon time to leave the newlyweds to party on; not before some cake cutting, dancing and even a mate gigging on his guitar!
This was one cool wedding and I was honoured to be part of it.

The newlyweds enjoyed peace, perfect peace around St Andrews Cathedral in the sun, we were so lucky with the weather.

Julie & Colin's wedding, St Andrews - part five
Just before the group formals, Julie had a swig from Colin's flask.....
I don't think she liked what she tasted!!
The cloister area of St Salvator's is stunning, beautiful natural light.

Julie & Colin's wedding, St Andrews - part four
Poor Julie was made to wait at St Salvator's Chapel's door, as Colin apparently had to make a last minute visit to the powder room!!But soon they were married!
I think Colin was quite happy with it all!

"Warehouse Special!" indoor portrait for September!
We interrupt the blogging of Julie & Colin for a fantastic announcement!
I've been given the fantastic opportunity to use a "being-refurbished" warehouse as a portrait setting - loads of fabulous natural light and great photo opportunities regardless of the weather!
Ideal for couples or teenager shoots, even a "Back Again" post wedding shoot in your wedding dress, I am offering a fantastic special of just £75 for a shoot lasting between 1 and 2 hours, online proofing for 1 month and a 15" x 10" enlargement of your favourite image!

Spaces are limited and only available for the next 3 to 4 weeks! (Sorry no young children allowed for these sessions!)
Julie & Colin's wedding, St Andrews - part two
The children were funny (as were the adults at times!) Lewis the page boy has grown into a lovely lad since I photographed him as a baby, and now he is a big brother! Here he is with his daft Uncle!
As for this young lady, smily Mylie was just adorable and very much more grown up since her christening at the Elgin Hotel that I photographed last year.

Julie & Colin's wedding, St Andrews - part one
Woo hoo! At last my brides and grooms are coming back from their honeymoons and seeing their images for the first time at the studio on the big screen. It's an exciting time, showing them the results of the hard work they put into their big days, and it pretty much always brings tears of joy from the bride (and the groom sometimes too!)
The first of a long run of St Andrews weddings..... I am very lucky to be recommended by the Old Course hotel for wedding photography and because of that, I do end up photographing a good number of St Andrews weddings.
Julie & Colin was always going to be a special day for me, as I felt I knew the family really well before the wedding - I had photographed the flower girl's christening, I had photographed the Mother of the Bride's special birthday party, I had photographed the page boy and his family at Blast Off! And now finally the wedding!
I joined the ladies in the morning at the beautiful Fairmont St Andrews hotel with all the fun of the getting ready stage.
I adored the bride's shoes and dress; the dress being a stunning Suzanne Nelville creation, bought from Eleganza Spoza in Glasgow.
The bridesmaids dresses were designed by Dessy, bought from Infinity Bridal in Dunfermline.
Of course, it was champagne all round very kindly brought to the room by Fairmont staff.
I loved the personalised post box for gifts from the guests!
