Kat & Cam's Dundonald Castle wedding - part four
There were so many little amazing details at this wedding, from the dragonfly on the bouquet (a wedding gift from the groom), to the individual candles naming each member of the family, to the traditional broom, and the engraved quaich. Loved ones no longer around were also remembered.

Morag Cameron is an interfaith celebrant and produced a lovely, meaningful ceremony, which included the children heavily. The newlyweds drank from the scottish drinking quaich before the first kiss!

Kat & Cam's Dundonald Castle wedding - part two
Dundonald Castle was the perfect setting for this wedding, rustic ruins, this fortified tower house on the hills above the village of Dundonald was built by Robert II in 1371.
The nervous groom Cam awaited me at the Castle, the weather was just perfect, the view over the isle of Arran outstanding, couldn't have asked for more.
The children really made the day with much hilarity abound, making awesome images.
The ceremony was something else - I have seen many weddings in 14 years but this surely was a new one for me. So personal, so Kat and Cam.

Kat & Cam's Dundonald Castle wedding - part one
Kat & Cam had a wedding with a difference....
Kat & Cam were the last winners of my "Win your Wedding Photography" competition and it was a real pleasure to photograph their Dundonald Castle wedding in Ayrshire. Kat & Cam are real special people and they were nominated for the competition by a friend who thought they deserved the prize more than anyone. It seems everyone else did too, as did I!
Their interfaith wedding (pagan and agnostic) included a hand-fasting ceremony with jumping the besom and a candle ceremony which included the couple's own children.
But in the beginning, I joined the bride in the usual morning getting ready chaos before we left for the castle.
