Hope you enjoyed the rest of your day guys, can't wait to see you soon, to show the whole selection of images, there are LOADS!
Jen did a fantastic bouquet throw from the front steps of Balbirnie, I believe the lovely lass that caught it, IS actually the next to be married out of their group!
The wedding breakfast for this wedding was held in the Orangery.
I adore, adore, adore, adore, ADORE this image of Jen just before she left the Library for the wedding breakfast, with her new husband.
I cannot remember what was said by me, or the bride at this point but it made a great photo!
Then it was onto my favourite time of the day; the couples session, the time for the newlyweds to enjoy each other's company while I get some amazing shots.
This wedding was a very classy affair, I was loving Jen's detail to attention in her attire, and I just loved Jim's dapper suit and shoes.

The video production was performed by Watch the Birdie from St Andrews; considering the amount of times I have shot in St Andrews recently, this was the first time I had shot with this company!
Immediately after the ceremony, the newlyweds greeted their guests on the steps of Balbirnie.
But it did start to rain during this time!
But the crowd managed to stay dry in time for the requested group shot on the steps, and the confetti shot which always looks brilliant at Balbirnie!
But as she glided down the stairs of Balbirnie House, she was the gal of the day.
A kiss for Dad at the top of the Long Gallery....
And the reading by her bridesmaid had us all in tears!
The humanist ceremony was beautifully led as always by Gillian Stewart. But you can tell that Jen wasn't entirely sure that Gillian's "tying the knot" would work.... it did!
Meanwhile upstairs, the stunning bride was taking a minute or two to herself...

More soon!

the venue also had the opportunity to show prospective brides how the Old Course is set up for weddings, for example the stunning Ballroom.
