After a blog a day last month, I have been taking a break this month, and now to catch up!
I was very fortunate to be only one of two photographers to be allowed to participate in the Old Course's first own wedding fayre recently, being a recommended vendor for this 5 star hotel.
The fayre was well attended and again I had a good turn out for the prize draw!
These are the winners;
Jillian Kennedy of Auchterhouse, Dundee
Kerry Rohan of Aberdeen
Jennifer Weaver of St Andrews
Jill McPherson of Monifieth

Dave & Emma's wedding, Breadsall Priory, Derby - part five
Walking out of the Priory, you could not believe that this was February!! Yes it was cold, but look at this amazing blue sky!!

This young man really stole the show for me!

After some mingling with their guests and some much needed champagne, I took the newlyweds around the grounds of the Priory.

The setting sun provided the most amazing light for these portraits.......

The Fife Wedding Fayre at the Rothes Halls this Sunday!
Just a quick note to say I will be exhibiting at the Rothes Halls Wedding Fayre, this Sunday 1st March, from 11am till 4pm.
I shall have several albums on display, and will be available personally to talk to you about your wedding day photography. Unfortunately I will be on my own tomorrow so if the stand is busy, please be patient, I will try to get around as many future NMP clients as possible!
I will also be running a prize draw for "Bonding" wedding day, "Back Again" post wedding and "Breathless" boudoir session offers! And everyone that enters the prize draw will receive further offers by email the week after the fayre.
I ran this prize draw at the Edinburgh Wedding Fayre at the Assembly Halls last month with great success; the winners there were
- Cara Christie from Edinburgh
- Chloe Bertini from Edinburgh
- Elsie MacDougall from Edinburgh
- Nicola Brown from Broxburn
Well done girls!

Streamline machine finally installed at NMP!!
We interrupt this coverage of Emma and Dave's wedding to bring some great news!!
After a year of hassle resulting from the identity fraud case, and my PayPal Virtual Terminal being hacked twice over the past year, and then waiting nearly 3 months for it to arrive, I am pleased to announce that I finally had a Streamline credit and debit card terminal installed at NMP.
Through the professional association, the Master Photographers Association, of which I am a qualifed member of, I managed to secure a permanent terminal, which is much more secure and a lot less hassle for me!

Dave & Emma's wedding, Breadsall Priory, Derby - part three
The ceremony..... starting with a nervous groom......
The ceremony was held in the Haslam Room, a gorgeous wood panelled room; outside the sun shone unusually brightly for a February day. It was great to finally meet Dave, I don't normally not meet with the couple until the day, but as they had a wedding of their own to photograph the day before, I didn't meet Emma till I arrived at the bridal suite, and Dave until this moment!
Love this shot of the three generations.....
Tom, the Best Man and son of the Groom.
The entrance of the bridal party to Pink Floyd finished with the bride literally RUNNING down the aisle, dragging her father behind her!
It caused great amusement with the guests!

The ceremony was quick and painless, but emotional.
For me the bride's parents make this shot...
Emma giggled her way through it all!

More tomorrow!

The relief of getting the rings on!
"Come on, hurry up...... call us 'man and wife'!!!!!"
At last, the first kiss!

Dave & Emma's wedding, Breadsall Priory, Derby - part two
The getting ready stage continued with the arrival of the bride out of the bathroom and into that amazing dress! With her girls doing their own thing around her....

Emma was gorgeous...
It was bizarre to be working with a bride who was very camera aware! The joys of knowing how the day happens, huh?!
And then it was time to get married!

This moment between bride and flower girl was so funny....

And this was a lovely moment between mother and daughter, it was a special day for both of them.
This dress was stunning, I know I have said it often but it was! Designed by the bride herself, and made by Beverley Wedgewood Bridal Design; it certainly was different.

And of course Emma had to have RED shoes too!

I think this is one of my favourite photos of the day....
Her tiara was also beautiful, and full of detail.
It was a proud papa that walked into the room then, and saw his daughter in that dress for the first time.....

While the paperwork was being signed, this young dude kept me amused!
And the new Mr and Mrs Nunn exited the room as crazily as they entered, with Emma dancing back down the aisle!
