Hi Nikki, as a fellow photographer I really thought I knew the value in photographs and what the offered clients. Then on the last day in Venice you produced your slide show of a collection of the photos you took of the whole group and it really brought a lump to my throat. I was over the moon when you gave me a copy of it and even now each time I watch it (about once a week) the memories just keep coming flooding back.
As photographers we get slightly desensitized to the power of the photos we produce and yes its nice to get nice notes etc from our customers but being on the other end of your camera really brought it home to me the REAL value of photos and the memories the create.
Nikki you created some amazing photos in Venice but the photos are all the more special for the memories they bring back - I know your clients are SO BLOODY LUCKY to be working with you and now know just how good you make them feel.
You truly are an amazing photographer and I count myself so luck to have spent time with you in Venice and to be photographed by you.
On a slightly different note, I am PIG SICK by your NYC photos - AMAZING - as you know I lived the for almost 7 years and I found myself looking at them with jealous eyes. Looks like you had a blast on your Destination Wedding.
