Sheryll & Andy's wedding - St Monan's Kirk & The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews - part four

I adore this photo; beautiful bride, long veil, dramatic skies...... my ideal....
The observant amongst you will notice the following image might appeal to the bride's parents; the very first image of this wedding on the blog, of the dresses hanging in the brides parents' house has a painting of this scene with golfers..... I decided to recreate the scene with the newlyweds....
It was getting pretty windy on the Swilken Bridge! But still the newlyweds turn on the glamour for the camera...... amazing!
Then it was time to join the guests at the Road Hole Bar in the wonderful Old Course Hotel. The quality of this hotel is second to none, I love shooting here.

Sheryll & Andy's wedding - St Monan's Kirk & The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews - part three

The sun split the clouds during the ceremony, giving amazing light inside the Kirk.
After the ceremony, mingling with guests and the group formals, Sheryll and Andy started their couples session off in the pretty fishing village of St Monans. This was quite funny, as I got my assistant Bev to stop traffic in the village in order to have a completely quiet street!
Then it was off to St Andrews and firstly a trip to the Cathedral.

Sheryll & Andy's wedding - St Monan's Kirk & The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews - part two

Sheryll's make up artist Louise Dyer applied the most amazing long eye lashes
Before we left for the church, we had some time for portraits with he parents and her girls. Then it was onto the wonderful St Monans Kirk, overlooking the River Forth; the Kirk iis very exposed and I did hope that the rain would turn off by the time I got there and fortunately the weather played ball!
Andy was waiting patiently....
It's such a beautiful setting, right beside the water

How romantic to cross a sea burn on your way to get married....

Sheryll & Andy's wedding - St Monan's Kirk & The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews - part one

I had been looking forward to Sheryll & Andy's wedding for a while. Such a lovely couple inside and out, and two beautiful venues to shoot at.

I joined Sheryll and her girls in the morning at her parents house in Lundin Links.
Sheryll truely has one of THE smallest waists going!

What a gorgeous bride, so easy to photograph!

{blush}ing again

"Don't think we have quite said just how much we both love the pics and I still just can't get over just how much I didn't realise you were even there taking pics yet you seemed to of captured everything!!

Thanks so much once again,

Mr and Mrs Douglas!!!!"

Another happy NMP bride -

"Hi Nikki

I hope you are well and are managing to get some time off.

We have spent a lot of time looking at our wedding photographs trying to absorb every little detail from our day. They are fantastic and we are delighted with the results. You did such an amazing job, capturing everything perfectly. You really managed to include every little detail and we will have this forever. We are so grateful!

We love all of the photos from the couples session, however our favourites are probably the ones taken in St Monans and at the cathedral. Those are just fantastic! We also love the ones at the beach and on the bridge. The sky looks so dramatic, its just a shame the wind picked up for the bridge shots. Its just such a difficult choice.

Thanks again for all your hard work. We had such a wonderful day and you have brought it together perfectly for us. Please also send our thanks to Beverly. She was a fantastic help on the day and could not have done more for me. I am so grateful."

Ashley & Gordon's wedding, Kinross Parish & Forrester Park Golf Resort - part seven

Back into the wonderful surroundings of Forrester Park; one of my favourite venues in the area. A sneaky last pic before the meal....okay, and another one!
The cake was cut; loving Ash's expression!

And then it was onto the speeches; first up Mother of the Bride!

The handsome groom did not too bad a job either!

Ash enjoyed the speeches!

as did the guests!
And how's this for a wedding present? A sliver plated horseshoe belonging to Wurzel, Ash's own gigantic horse!

A wonderful wedding for two wonderful people!

Ashley & Gordon's wedding, Kinross Parish & Forrester Park Golf Resort - part six

The surrounding area at the horses provided some amazing scenes! How wonderful was it to be given an hour to make amazing images of the newlyweds!

We then set off for Forrester Park, and shot straight out on the golf buggies, with two additions; the couples two labrador dogs! Two of the most well behaved dogs ever!

Ashley & Gordon's wedding, Kinross Parish & Forrester Park Golf Resort - part five

We were SO lucky with the weather, the rain held off, and left dramatic skies.
As Gordon put the horses back, Ash decided to muck about with her veil!

Ashley & Gordon's wedding, Kinross Parish & Forrester Park Golf Resort - part four

The flower girl was mega cute! And the church was stunning.....
On the way to Forrester Park, Ashley had made an unusual request, which I was TOTALLY game for! Ash and Gordon own two amazing horses, and Ash had a dream of having images taken of her in her wedding dress with her horses..... so I made her dream come true!

Ashley & Gordon's wedding, Kinross Parish & Forrester Park Golf Resort - part three

The ceremony was full of fun moments, tears, wind up teeth and toilet roll......... not your average church wedding I can tell you - and yes I had a wee bubble while up in the eves too!
