The day before the wedding, the groom showed me a special spot at the reception venue Rydal Hall. It had it's own little grotto beside a beautiful waterfall and was ideal for photos. I don't think the groom realised just how cold it would be being photographed there mid December.... Apparently with the wind chill, it was minus 18......
But it was worth it for these stunning images...
Beautiful natural light which was pretty amazing seeming as it was 3pm on the day before the shortest day of the year...
We mucked about a little out the front of Rydal Hall before we just had to call it quits, it was so ridiculously cold!
