Completely inspired by my lessons in Paris, I was totally ready for Viv & Brian's wedding in Glasgow's Merchant City the next day.
Viv & Brian were amazing people, not ones for the traditional wedding and they stayed true to that!! Arta is a funky cool restaurant, bar, nightclub kinda place, in a hip n' cool n' trendy part of the city. Brian acted cool before the ceremony, I think he was panicking when his bride was not turning up almost half an hour after the ceremony start time.....
But panic not! She appeared, and under candlelight, the two were married, through fits of giggles!
One thing that inspired me most from Jerry Ghionis was getting the most out of the couples session, the time the newlyweds spent together - boy did we rock the Merchant City! Viv & Brian were totally up for anything, and okay they perhaps thought I was crazy with some of the places I was asking them to stand at, but they put their trust in me, and the resulting images are so worth the raised eyebrows!!
Many thanks to Louisa who came from London to assist me.
If you would like to see the complete portfolio of images from this wedding, when it is released online (the couple will see them first on return from honeymoon), email me on nikki@nikkimcleodphotography.com with the groom's surname and bride's maiden name in the email, and I can send you the password when it is released.
